Anymore - Teresa Brewer (Coral) ------------------------------------------------------------------ NOTE: The above is allegedly WABC's first survey as a full time Top 40 radio station (excluding the obligatory network programs). Although WABC played Top 40 music before this, it was in blocks during the broadcast day, and they had no charts. During the payola scare, WABC decided to play it safe and rely exclusively on the chart positions as listed in Cash Box magazine. This was VERBATIM. Find the Cash Box charts from 1958-July 1960, and you find the music charts for WABC during that time. This list is taken from a copy of the in-house playlist for WABC this week, and is the first WABC survey that deviated from Cash Box. This list is EXACTLY as it appeared inside WABC this week, complete with spelling errors, slightly incorrect titles, and, in one case, a missing label. --KFW
